How to detox your body in the kitchen isn’t as difficult as we may think. I mean there’s plenty of toxins in the substances of food most people call them but most of us know what those are. If we are talking directly about how to make some quick and easy changes without much effort than I can direct you to plastic.
So recently I found out pretty much by accident (if I believed in accidents :)) Detoxify Yourself was found on a best sellers list in Calgary. I was quite take back as you could imagine, Detoxify Yourself has taken me places I never thought I’d go, certainly never on any kind of best sellers. First thought was disbelief, then I thought they got the name or title wrong, but when I saw proof reality hit home, I was able to appreciate all the hard work I put in which I wanted to share because I feel a lot of people give up right before they're about to do something great because so many of us are sold on the overnight success.
Success and failure is always there, you'll always have ups and downs, no matter how you look at it at times things will be better than another time. You can change your perspective, you can change your attitude but the truth of the matter is at times things won't run so smoothly. And there's nothing wrong with that, if you read any of my other posts on other subjects you'd know I tell you to embrace those times, embrace failure, embrace when you're not so good, get better and move on.
Detox for men is something you rarely hear about. It’s seems for the most part its women that are looking to cleanse, or reset their system. I have to admit, when I do book signings I don’t expect many men to come over but the last few signings have proven me wrong. More men than women have purchased Detoxify Yourself as of recent, which I think is cool.
I run into many different types of people during my adventures with whatever project I'm up to, in this case in particular more directly those that start a detox or a cleanse. First of all it’s important to note that when perusing the contents of Detoxify Yourself it could look slightly daunting when you get to the meal section and you see 6 meals in a day. Yes we’ve all heard this before; many people know what to do others have just heard you’re supposed to eat small meals throughout the day. I’d like to make it clear there is a process on how to go about eating small meals throughout the day. I certainly wouldn’t recommend starting out with a goal of 6 meals a day when at the moment you have two. That’s a pretty big leap. Throughout Detoxify Yourself I talk about widening your scope of success, we want to do everything we can to increase our success rate.
We all see authors sitting at books stores (if we visit books stores frequently enough). We see them from the outside but not usually from the inside out. This is my view, this is what I see sitting from behind the table.
